Ƶ Magazine An Engineering Wonder
Theodore “Tad” Finkler, an engineering physics major from South Lake Tahoe, California, has received a 1996 National Engineers Week scholarship award. A committee of engineers in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties selected the winners.
Tad, who is a sophomore, graduated as the valedictorian of his high school class and won a National Merit scholarship. He plans to pursue the three-two dual degree program in engineering, which includes three years of study at Ƶ and two years at an engineering school. He has also spent two spring breaks participating in the Potter’s Clay student ministry in Ensenada, Mexico.
