Jonathan Tran of Baylor University will lecture about “Bombs or Bread? American Exceptionalism and the Church’s Mission to the Nations” on Thursday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m. in Winter Hall’s Darling Foundation Lecture Hall (Room 210) at ������Ƶ.

Jonathan Tran received a doctorate from Duke University and currently teaches theological ethics in the Baylor University Department of Religion. He is author of “The Vietnam War and Theologies of Memory: Time and Eternity in the Far Country” forthcoming in the Blackwell series, “Challenges in Contemporary Theology” and “Theology and Foucault” forthcoming in the T & T Clark International series, “Philosophy and Theology.” Originally from Southern California, he and his family live in Woodway, Texas, and have been at Baylor for three years.
