A diverse group of scholars will explore the role of natural law in evangelical political thought during a conference at ذكذكتسئµ Feb. 17-19. “,â€‌ features several lectures that are free and open to the public, including the keynote address, “Natural Law, God, and Human Dignity,â€‌ by Thursday, Feb. 17, at 7:30 p.m. in Darling Foundation Lecture Hall in ذكذكتسئµâ€™s Winter Hall (Room 210) ().

The public is also welcome to listen to who will speak in chapel about “Written on the Heart: What Writing? What Heart?â€‌ Friday, Feb. 18, at 10:30 a.m.

, ذكذكتسئµ assistant professor of political science, says the conference reflects the heart of ذكذكتسئµâ€™s identity and mission. “We’re committed to social engagement on a global level,â€‌ Covington says. “The conference explores how Christians can better live and serve in the world--particularly the political world-and what role natural law ought to play in this.â€‌

George is the McCormick professor of jurisprudence and founder and director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He is also a professor of politics and an associated faculty member of the Princeton Department of Philosophy.

Budziszewski, professor of government and philosophy at the University of Texas, Austin, has long worked at the intersection of ethical and political philosophy and ethical and political theology.
