ذكذكتسئµ President Stan Gaede has a new book out: “An Incomplete Guide to the Rest of Your Life: On the Road to Meaning, Purpose & Happiness,†published by InterVarsity Press.
With warm stories and conversational style, Gaede addresses topics such as vocation, relationships, integrity and compassion to provide guidance in leading a life worth living and finding authentic happiness. He points his reader beyond temporary diversions to the God who offers true satisfaction and fulfillment.
A 1969 ذكذكتسئµ graduate, Stan Gaede earned his Ph.D. in sociology at Vanderbilt University. He came to Westmont in 1996 after serving as a professor and then provost at Gordon College in Massachusetts.
He has written six other books, including “Surprised by God†and “When Tolerance Is No Virtue: PC, Multiculturalism and the Future of Truth and Justice.†His areas of expertise include American culture, Christianity and the liberal arts, modernization and secularization, and religious and social tolerance. Gaede became president of ذكذكتسئµ in July 2001.
ذكذكتسئµ is a nationally ranked, residential liberal arts college that serves about 1,200 select undergraduates.
